Nancy + Eric, Kimmel Center Wedding – Hamilton Garden – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

Wow, its been a while since we blogged. Time flies when you’re having fun. Back in October, Ash and I had the pleasure of working with Nancy and Eric on their wedding day in October. We started our day at the gorgeous Bellevue on Broad Street, where the couple and bridal party were getting ready. The girls looked amazing in their navy gowns and Nancy cool as a cucumber in her robe sipping on champagne with the girls, waiting to put on her Dennis Basso gown on.

I love this pic of Nancy and her mom. They have such a special bond together

Being that the day was perfect, Ash and the guys walked to the church in Rittenhouse square, what a great stress reliever and exercise. Nancy dressed and ready to go, she was perfect (her hair – to die for).We gathered the girls and headed to the trolley. It’s showtime – we got to the church and wasted no time – ceremony in full swing. Eric waiting at the alter for his bride – I loved his expression!

After the ceremony, the couple and bridal party headed to the Art Museum for pics. Ash and I walked to the KImmel Center for set up. What a spectacular view from the Hamilton Garden. Nancy and Eric didn’t miss a beat with details of the :”Fall in Philadelphia” theme . They had a custom painting designed by William Ressler called “Avenue of the Arts” that was used as their sign in book. Their placecards were placed underneath a massive floral display designed by Ten Pennies in the cocktail area.

In the Hamilton Garden, Central Park Band was warming up as the Garces Catering staff was putting the finishing touches to the room. The cake donned a topper of the couple, which included their cute dog Emma. It was perfect! Nancy had custom made cookies for the guests as a treat from Emma and each place setting had a sweet treat of custom made chocolates sporting Philadelphia landmarks.

parvis7

Their first dance was perfect as they danced to Ray Lamontange, “You are the Best Thing” and the party didn’t stop there. As a surprise, Eric serenaded Nancy in front of all the guests, what a great surprise to all of us.

parvis11

We absolutely loved working with this couple and both families. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day and sharing all your special moments.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii for 2 weeks – how awesome!

A mixtape filled with all good ol’ lovin music, sounds like a perfect gift for that cute honey of yours. Clearly this is not my expertise, that’s why I partnered with our good friend and business partner – DJ Bizz. We’ve worked with Bizz on several fabulous events including The Knot Party last year and many weddings throughout the years. Bizz works the hottest parties and events with CTO Artists and kills it in the  hottest clubs locally and across the U.S independently.

Bizz took us back in the 90’s and honestly the best time of my life – thanks Bizz for that, and created a phenom mixtape that you will love. Mix includes artists like – Heavy D, LL Cool J, Mary J, and PM Dawn – say what.

Hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did and it brought back good memories for you too. You can download this mix via DJ Bizz’s Sound Cloud page, while you’re there, be sure to check his other mixes.

Dianna + Phil – The Yellow House at Willowdale – Chaddsford, PA -Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI Events

Like all our couples, you grow a bond to them like family, with Dianna and Phil, it was a strong bond that will be forever. Their wedding was picture perfect that June afternoon. The sun was shining, there is a calming breeze, and you are in the middle of a green field surrounded by nothing but open space and a beautiful yellow house (and cows).    Angela was super excited for the planning of this wedding because Dianna is truly an amazing woman and was so much fun to work with! She hit every angle of this “Country -Chic” wedding from fabulous cowboy boots to rustic window pane centerpieces.

The bridal party looked amazing. Dianna’s wedding dress was from Jennifer’s of Hockessin, DE. It was Modern Trousseau “May” with a Tony Federicci birdcage veil and feather headpiece. She looked absolutely stunning and her cowgirl boots from Ariat truly expressed her desire for a rustic chic wedding

I love this pic of her mother Sharon, putting the finishing touches to Dianna’s look. Sharon’s dress was purchased from Van Cleve Pavilion in Paoli.

Her bridal party wore BHLDN short Beribonned green and yellow dresses and cowboy boots! The combination of the two colors was perfect for each other. Dianna and her bridal party completed their look with help from Hair Stylist Amanda D’Andrea and DUO Make-Up Artistry! Their hair and make-up looked simple, elegant, and everyone looked beautiful!

arrangements, elegant lighting, and sophisticated table settings.  Setting up for this wedding was a blast. The linens were beautiful and matched everything perfectly. Eventions Productions provided remarkable lighting which added a romantic feel to the venue as well as the beautiful floral arrangements from Sweet Pea of Jennersville. .  The groomsmen looked just as good too, of course!!! The ceremony and reception was held at The Yellow House of Willowdale. The grounds were romantic and elegant and meshed perfectly with Dianna and Phil’s country-theme wedding! Other amazing details included a vintage typewriter for escort cards and was used as a “Guest Book” where guests were able to type their wishes for Dianna and Phil! There was also a family board, designed by Madikay Designs, which has the couple’s name and year along with words in various fonts to describe their family. On each table, small wooden chalkboard signs were used at table numbers, which were designed by Crafts by Joyice (ETSY). Tables were named after all different types of beer and wine! The favors were perfect for the theme of this wedding. Dianna and Phil filled small Muslin bags with birdseed. Written on the front of each bag was the phrase “All You Need Is Love,” designed by Plantables and Paper. Save the Dates, Invitations, Beer Labels, and Thank You Cards were fabulous and designed by Beth Ann Horwitz of Newark, DE. Each and every detail truly added to this rustic chic and modern weddding! To top it off, Phillip, a home brewer who goes by Infinite Craft Brew, made a delicious Wedding Edition Session Amber Ale beer to celebrate the big day! The label on the beer bottles had a picture of Dianna and Phil’s matching wedding bands! Photographer, Rae Barnes, was able to capture the unforgettable moments throughout the night! The entertainment provided by No Macarena really set the mood for Diana and Phil’s first dance and for the rest of the entire evening! Guests were able to enjoy the wonderful entertainment as well as the delicious dinner provided by Perfect Settings Catering as well as the sweet desserts from Bing’s Bakery. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from Dianna & Phil’s Wedding! Thank you, Rae Barnes, for beautifully capturing the best moments!
