Glitter, Glitz, and Glam – Carla + Gregory – Custom Wedding Invitation – Philadelphia Stationery Designer – Titus Print

We had the pleasure of working with Carla and Gregory on a custom invitation for their wedding this November. Gregory is the brother of our past client – Gigi(Jamal), who’s invitations we designed and wedding we coordinated a few years ago. Their chic color scheme included – rich navy, platinum and silver. Carla liked the idea of a square layered invitation completed with a glitter belly band and logo. We used textured white card stock for all elements including the main invitation and other pieces. The outer envelope consisted of navy shimmer that was lined with the same silver shimmer paper used for the bellyband. Carla LOVED the complete invitation! Instead of a reply card with envelope – we created a reply post card that worked perfectly and saved the couple on postage. Little man is on his way! Nautical inspired Baby Shower invites. Philadelphia Stationery Designer- Philadelphia Wedding Planner- Titus Print- Angela MALICKI events

We were excited to receive a phone call from our client Angela  last month about her upcoming baby shower. Last year we had the pleasure of designing Angela and Chris’s wedding invitations  for the swanky center city wedding at the Curtis Center downtown.

The happy couple announced they’re  having a boy and with their baby shower around the corner, Angela partnered with us on  the perfect design. She wanted a trendy, yet playful invitation that would fit the theme of the baby shower. Little man’s colors are gray, navy and black. We designed this double sided chevron pattern and used a few different fonts that tied the look together. The invitation was printed on a textured watercolor paper and completed with a light blue and white bakers string.

We were thrilled with the finished invite and couldn’t be happier for Angela and Chris!

Can’t wait to meet baby Bradley!

Pinterest, your new obsession -Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela Malicki Events

Hi there!

Want to know 52 ways to use dish washing liquid other than cleaning dishes? How about how to make a dress from an old scarf ? Who wouldn’t like this handy information right at their fingertips? I’m sure most of you by now know what Pinterest is and most likely already have an account, but for those who don’t Pinterest in a website where you can find anything from hair style tutorials to best athletes of 2011. You can collect items that interest you and “pin” them to your virtual pinboard, organizing them in categories such as “dream homes that I would never be able to afford” to “recipes that are 2 million+ calories a bite” and everything in between. If you’re crafty and like DIY projects, Pinterest will be your Heaven. There are hundreds of ideas to keep you busy for hours on a rainy day. Not crafty? How about planning that big day and still need some last minute details to make your wedding one of a kind. Pinterest has an entire wedding and events category including adorable bridesmaid gift ideas (personalized hangers to hang their dresses on- cute!) and creative Save the Date invite ideas.

Imagine all of your brilliant ideas when it comes to your dream wedding in one place! The virtual pin board captures everything from color schemes to dress designs. If you see a dress you like, simply click the image and it will automatically take you to the site where it can be found. Pinterest is a fantastic way to stay on top of the trends and find out what’s popular. You can even search your favorite stylist/celebrity/whoever and find out everything there is about them! Search Kim Kardashian and you’ll find everything from makeup tutorials to the hottest pair of pumps she was last seen in.

Once you see a post you like or find interesting, simply click it and the site will ask if you want to “like” it, “repin”, or “comment”. If you click “repin” you can then choose the board you want to add it to. Everytime you repin a post others who are following you and are on the site will be notified there is a new “pin” on the homepage. Obviously the more diverse your pins and how often you repin, you can gain more followers.

If you are interested in joining you have to submit an invitation and the website typically takes about a week to get back to you (for some odd reason you can’t just click a button to join, you have to request an invite and wait for them to respond). If you are really impatient like me, find a friend who has a Pinterest account and ask them to email you an invite and you will be able to log in right then and there.

Happy Pinning!

Happy Anniversary Yom and Paul! – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

Last year at this time I had the pleasure coordinating Yom and Paul’s wedding. They were absolutely fabulous to work with. When I met Yom, she was overwhelmed with the planning process and didn’t know were to begin. Yom and Paul originally wanted to get married in Jamaica, but with their large family (Paul comes from a family of 12) it was impossible. So Jamaica came to Philly (well the theme that is). We first started with her color palette, hot red, platinum, white and turquoise. We took care of all the details, from custom invitations with logo design (that was also used for the gobo design on the dance floor), custom favor design (they gave each couple a set of hand etched coasters from Jamaica), floral design and personals( Yom carried 4 dozen Charlotte Roses, the centerpieces had 4 and half dozen red and white roses and the added height of the callas). The room needed something special and that was LIGHTING!I loved the way the room turned out with the pin-spotting and the up-lighting. Yoma dn Paul couldn’t believe that it was the same room. The guests enjoyed the signature drink and danced to the smooth music all night. This event was beautifully captured by the extremely amazing dollface studio!I will never forget this wedding or this couple! More years of happiness guys!

Yom’s gown was breathtaking, it was a Austin Scarlett for Kenneth Pool and the girls dresses were Jim Hjelm
Her entire bridal party came from all parts of the US from L.A., New York and San Diego, they all came to be with their girl
This is such a cute photo, this little boy in the center is Yom and Paul’s son Jeremiah
We had lined the aisle with over 10,000 rose petals(it’s true) Yom walked down to a Kenny G song played by the harpist. The ceremony was held at the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown. Right in Yom and Paul’s neighborhood.
The room was spectacular, the custom logo was used for the gobo. Brian Toner and his team did a great job
I loved the signature drink, it was a blue Hawaiian martini
and the dancing didn’t stop, the party went until 1 AM that night, it was a blast
I love this shot!
