Jenna and Anup – Artesano Iron Works Gallery – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

By far, Jenna and Anup (Snoopy) were our most laid back, fun loving couple. We first met in person while vacationing in Miami last January. Jenna contacting us back in September and we clicked immediately, and I loved her ideas especially the custom made dress for her adorable Boston Terrier Chloe. Ashley started her morning at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia where all preps took place. It was a beautiful – but warm – Saturday in June. Claudia Seyler – the artist is what I like to call her – was finishing up with hair and make up. Jenna’s Serafina Kenneth Pool gown was a work of art as it hung from the molding in the bridal suite. I loved her bouquet which consisted of Phalaenopsis orchids, pale pink garden roses and small crystals hand tied with satin ribbon.

The couple needed décor assistance creating a vision for the gallery . We had  coordinated a wedding there in September and knew the space well how the décor would look. I partnered with Ivan – Artesano’s event director  – darling,  to come up with a fabulous design for the space that included rich textures and colors. I sketched out a tablescape and we hit the design on the head. We contacted Judith, owner of Campbell Studios for our vision, and perfection! The client loved it. The room was illuminated in a soft champagne glow provided by Eventions Productions.

The tablescape included – gunmetal colored pintuck linens nestled on square tables – gorgeous. 2 designs were created, a high and low centerpiece option, both included green calla lilies, mini white callas, orchids and roses. Titus Print (our subsidiary stationery company) designed all reception stationery including the menu cards, placecards, programs and table signs. The look was a perfect. The table signs were written in Hindu with English translations. The navy shimmer signs looked great against the lime green callas and white mini arrangements.

The ceremony was performed during sunset outside in the courtyard. The guests enjoyed lemonade while listening to the sounds of Philadelphia String Quartet. The processional started with the couple’s 2 adorable dogs walked by the flowergirl and ringbearer. Jenna walked down the aisle with her dad to the Beatles song – Something in the Way. It was a perfect moment.

The couple incorporated a a Hindu tradition of the exchange of garlands made with red and white carnation. It was a great ending to a nice ceremony. The guests proceeded in to the gallery where they enjoyed the couple’s signature drink – 30 Love – St. Germain and Rose’ Champagne, and great bites catered by Artesano’s in house caterer.

After cocktail hour, we were ready to party – the couple had their first dance to Roberta Flack’s , ” The first time”, it was a perfect choreographed dance. That was a great way for the guests to start dancing. I loved all their details, including their wedding cake, designed by Ciao Bella Cakes, the cake topper was a adorable! I’ve never seen a candy bar like theirs. they had several candies from Ireland and England – it was a big hit.

We enjoyed every minute of their wedding and we wish Jenna and Snoopy a lifetime of happiness. Hope you had a great time in Greece and Turkey
