•  Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours if on site. Your heels are great in the beginning, kiss them good bye by mid event. TRUST ME.
•  Possible client meetings along with principle designer
• Great eye for detail and impeccable taste
• Current in many categories including, fashion, event design, decor, celeb news,and what’s hot and not!
•  Assist with any set up and or break down at any event
• BLOGGING! Knowledgeable with all social media channels
• Out of the box thinking and looking for next!
• Currently invloved in any organizations, Chamber of Commerce or Young Professional Groups.

One Hot Mama Dives Into The Shark Tank – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

It’s true, one of our clients, Deidrea Haysel, is taking a huge plunge into the shark tank! Not the shark tank you’re probably thinking of, but ABC’s hit show Shark Tank. Deidra owns Hot Mama Gowns the latest and most fashionable way to dress during maternity.

We have had the honor to plan Deidrea’s viewing party which is happening THISFriday, April 22nd at McKenzie Brew House in Glenn Mills from 6:30-9:30pm. And yes – of course you can come! It’s easy, just RSVP to info@angelamalickievents.com and we will handle the rest! You will be able to view the show which airs at 8pm, there will be a lot of great prizes to win and you will even go home with your very own swag bag full of goodies!

Deidrea came up with the idea of Hot Mama Gowns during her own pregnancy in 2006. She was not thrilled with what she calls the, “itchy, chemical smelling, faded hospital gowns.” Right then and there was when her idea came to life! Deidrea went through many prototypes but eventually came up with a great design, plus the gowns are 100% pure organic cotton. The gowns are absolutely beautiful and range from sizes 2-24, with many styles to choose from. (Too bad neither of us are pregnant, or we would buy some ourselves!)

Now if you don’t know what Shark Tank is all about, it’s simple. The basic concept is that entrepreneurs put their company or idea out of the line, for the ‘sharks’ to take a bite at. Those ‘sharks’ consist of Mark Cuban, Jeff Foxworthy, real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, infomercial industry pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion icon Daymond John and financial expert Kevin O’Leary – not an easy crowd to please! The sharks decide whether or not they want to use their contacts and expertise to invest in the company. So on Friday, we will see if Hot Mama Gowns sank or swam with the sharks!

This is going to be a fabulous viewing party you will not want to miss! We are having a amazing group of sponsors including McKenzie Brew House, Kevin York Photography, and The Original Runner Co. Also, a list of companies who donated to our swag boxes can be found on the Hot Mama Blog.

It’s really a no brainer. An awesome venue, hot mamas, prizes, swag boxes, amazing photography by Kevin York, and a chance to party with us!

Another happy AMELLC Client – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner Angela MALICKI events

Last week we received a lovely thank you note from one of our clients, Alexis and Dennis.They were an absolute pleasure to work for from beginning to end Their wedding took place two days after Thanksgiving in Center City Philadelphia. Both Doctors with busy schedules, planning a wedding was not easy. We were contracted for our design planning package, Day of Coordination including vendor research. The intimate affair went off without a hitch. Pictures to come in the next week or so. We love letters like this and enjoy doing what we do best – Making the client happy!

DG thirtith – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

My good Darah, owner of dollface studio contacted me ” Ang I need help with my brunch, any suggestions”? HELLO, of course I can help. I asked her a few questions about what kind of feel she was going for with decor and food suggestions. First and foremost, I asked about the decor of her house. Every event that I coordinate for my clients, I designed an identity that no one will have. I started with her logo, this was discreetly represented through out the brunch, from drink tents, cocktail straws and food picks. It turned out perfect. Next, flowers, with Darah’s open room space and window height was a perfect back drop for the florals, the solution was curly willows and pops of color with the peonies, and what is a dollface party without PINK!.Food was another major part. With a brunch, especially when there are people walking and mingling you want to have a variety of colorful foods, different textures and for those that do not eat meat, your vegan options. The brunch was a fabulous success and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the great sounds of Biggie Smalls and Reggae and sipped on Electric Lemonade and Mimosas. But most of all, we celebrated the birthday of a great friend! Can’t wait til next year Darah. A special thanks to Lesllie Gilbert, owner of Leslie Gilbert Photography who snapped a few of the images posted.
