Love Scavenger Hunt, Valentine’s Day Part 12, Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

graphic designed by titus print www.titusprint.com

OK, I know this has been done before, but keeping the romance spicy and on the ball is alot of work. A scavenger hunt is a creative way for you to express your gratitude and love on Valentine’s Day.  When designing your hunt, make sure you choose locations that are close your where you live and ask the business owner first if they are cool with the idea. Have items pre selected for your Valentine and paid for in advance for pick up.

Where do you being…

Start with your residence – Have a box wrapped for her/him to go with the first location listed or hint.

Once he/she made it to their destination, another clue and their gift will be waiting.

You get the idea. Trust me it’s a fun and creative way to keep your love on their toes.

WHATEVER I want for a Year – Valentine’s Day part 10 – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

DIY Valentine's Day Coupons

I remember one of my “past” Valentine bought me these “coupons” from a local card store. And I thought, this is cheezy – but cute. Later on, I put a twist of my own on them when giving them to my Valentine. I thought of the little things that he might like and incorporated it into a note card.

These came in handy for certain requests. Ofcourse, he always wanted to use the same one over and over again – we can figure out which one!

These were real easy to make:

Hand Draw a heart of cute image

Use a scanner to import it in your computer.

Set up document to 4.25×5.5 and place image where ever you prefer

Set up text and the rest is up to you.

Depending on the program, set up document with four copies – print and cut to size

If you want to make it a little cuter, add a colored stock for the backing and tie with ribbon.

Hopefully this was easy for you!

Diamonds are nice and so are pearls, but nothing will beat a heart of gold or silver! – Valentine’s Day Part 8 – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events

Jewelry is a favorite amongst women and men. We asked several men and women what kind of jewelry would they like to receive on Valentine’s Day or what additions do they want to add to their current collections.  We made your life easier by breaking our list of the top ten jewelry must haves that will make your loved one, love you long time (hopefully)!

  1. Engagement ring – survey says “Number one answer” . Even if you have one in your collection, another or a bigger one never hurt.
  2. David Yurman bracelet – One of my favorite pieces and not to mention, they vary in metal and stone.
  3. Pandora charm bracelet – Probably one of the most popular pieces thus far for anyone. You can add charms that have special meaning or keep it simple with a mono chromatic design. Bonus, they have a guarantee  for life if they break.
  4. Diamond Studs – NO brainer! How about mixing up the “Studds”, with a few pave’s.
  5. Name Plate, Carrie Bradshaw style – If your chick is a round a way girl, or  a fashionista, this a cute gesture for any age. Ang still has hers!
  6. Anniversary band – If your LOVER has it all, spoiler her with a fabulous anniversary band. You never can have enough rings on one finger – Unless your Mr. T.
  7. Michael Kors watch – A girl can never have enough watches. I love these watches because they come in different metals and colors. Designer and chic – yes please!
  8. Strand of Pearls – No explanation required.
  9. Heart shaped pendent – Ang has couple, my favorite is her ‘Heart of Philadelphia” by Lagos. It’s made from sterling silver and can be worn with anything. Visit her personal shopper Brian at Neiman’s for that one!
  10. Cartier Love bracelet – You don’t have to be a Karashian to own one of these. This bracelet is pure lux  and the detail is recognizable to anyone. It comes in different metals and of course, matching pieces. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces by far.
Hope we made your life simpler with the jewelry piece. Don’t forget the box of chocolates, candles and roses too!

With Valentines Day quickly approaching, nothing impresses quite like a romantic dinner in the city of (brotherly) love. Philadelphia is full of hundreds of fabulous eateries to please the senses, which can be a bit over whelming; but don’t worry we have done all the leg work for you and found five of the most romantic restaurants right here in our very own city.

Bistro San Tropez.

This swanky French Bistro offers traditional French fair in a relaxed bistro atmosphere and whether it’s the delicious lamb or decadent San Tropez cake made with Double-layered chocolate mousse,  this place is sure to please the curious seekers.  Located on the fourth floor of the Market Place Design Center overlooking the Schuylkill and 30th street station it’s an easy ride by train bus or trolley.

Le Bec Fin

Now if you’re into great food, great service and a formal intimate dining experience Le Bec Fin is the place for you.  This classic French eatery offers many unique tasting menus sure to please every palate and appetite.  While a little on the pricey side, you will get what you pay for with only the freshest exotic ingredients from around the world and a wine list that goes on for pages. Parc

You can’t go wrong with this Philly favorite located right in the heart of romantic Rittenhouse square.  Start off with a nice walk in the park and end up at Parc for a delicious and exotic assortment of Cheeses and a bottle of Beaujolais.  If your still hungry, pretty much everything is delicious from the Mac and Cheese (Macaroni Au gratin – This is a fancy eatery you know) to a hearty steak. Hands down, one of our favorite places for people watching and the food!

Amada

A classic from Philly’s own Jose Garces located in the heart of Old City, it brings together the flavors of Spain and the Mediterranean in cute little bite size packages (literally!).  Everything here is not only tasty but artfully presented.  Don’t worry, this is one piece of art you are allowed to touch and eat.  Always full to the brim so be sure to make a reservation well in advance.

Audrey Claire

This cute little BYOB located in Rittenhouse Sqaure will have you coming back due to one reason – the food.  Their menu changes seasonally, but don’t worry, their classic dishes are here to stay. If you head on the weekend, give yourself at least a 30 minute wait ahead of you.

Hopefully you will all find these restaurants helpful to impress that special someone this upcoming Valentines day. Most of the restaurants listed are offering specials for the romantic holiday!
